Positive balance of Team Suzuki Speed Racing

in the middle of FIM CEV Repsol 2014

After the double quote FIM CEV Repsol 2014 Albacete, Team Suzuki Racing Speed leaves this circuit with a win and a cessation of Angel Rodriguez in the first and second race respectively, and the consolidation of a good progression of Alexander Mateos, which has achieved 8th place in the first race and tenth in the second.

Albacete races were the last two before the "break" of summer and the next test will take place in Navarra on 7 September. The middle for a championship in the Team Suzuki Speed Racing has had very mixed results. "We were with the victory of the first race of Angel," says José Regaña. After five years, Angel Rodriguez again demonstrated his talent on a bike. Rodri, who started from pole in the first race has held the position for the first few laps, with Kenny Noyes. After the fall suffered by the american rider, Angel has been in second place behind Ivan Silva, until finally, Angel has managed to take the lead, passing by the first goal.

"I'm happy for the team - explains Angel-. It has worked so hard since the beginning of the season and deserved to see some good results. "

Unfortunately, Angel failed to finish the second race since a fall forced him to leave.

"Still, I'm happy and very satisfied of Albacete" says ilicitano pilot.

Alexander Mateos, meanwhile, has been 8 in the race held in the morning, which means 2

in the category of private.

"I'm happy with this result, especially considering the fall I had yesterday, which left me touched something," says Alexander. The pity is that during the second "not safe and I felt I had to fight not to fall more than by going gaining ground," says the pilot. Alexander's effort earned him 10th place that has finally finished.

Team Suzuki Racing Speed Albacete leaves satisfied with the results today, but also for all the races. Now it's a few weeks off and immediately the first practice of Angel Rodriguez, Alexander Mateos and Fran Rodríguez facing the race to be held at the Circuit de Navarra.

Angel Rodriguez # 47 (Rider):

"Even though I crashed in the second race, I'm going to Albacete with good taste. We have won a race and that's what we deserved some time. In short, I'm happy. Now it's rest and recuperate ahead of the next race in September."

Alexander Mateos # 37 (Rider):

"In the first race I came out very motivated and I felt pretty confident on the bike, so I was unable to gain positions until I finished 8th. In contrast, the second has been tough physically and mentally. I had to fight to run and not fall, and clear, so I found it impossible to gain positions. "

José Regaña (Team Manager):

"We are in the middle of championship and from now the goal is to try to be more consistent and rate each race. We leave Albacete satisfied with the results and pleased by the strong support from early season we have shown all the sponsors, but especially we would like to thank Dunlop and Suzuki how they have continued to rely on Team Suzuki Speed Racing at times more complicated. So, certainly this victory was devoted to them. "
